Pick before we commit budget

Slide styles, TTS voices, and AI host options.

Three sample sets to choose from before any new video gets rendered. All slides are screenshots, all voices are playable, all AI host options are still-image previews ($0.03 total for the previews — Veo 3 video only happens after you pick).

1. Slide styles — 6 options

Same content rendered six different ways. Tell me which 2-3 you want me to rotate through across lessons so the visual stays fresh.

Style A
Style A · current

Teal pill + tagline (what we use today)

Clean, branded, predictable. The current default across L001-L020.

Style B
Style B · dark + giant number

Big number split — dark theme

Cinematic dark navy. Giant cyan numeral on the left, label + tagline on the right. Premium tech feel.

Style C
Style C · editorial

Quote card — serif, cream paper

Warmer, magazine-style. Big gold quotation mark + serif body. Great for emotional / story-driven lessons.

Style D
Style D · split screen

Label left, example right — half/half

Bold teal half on the left with the concept, white half on the right with the prompt to try. High info density.

Style E
Style E · newspaper

Bold headline with kicker rule

Big serif headline + colored kicker bar above. Reads like a NYT/Bloomberg headline. Authoritative.

Style F
Style F · terminal

Code-editor / terminal window

Pretend it's a real dev terminal. Great for the technical lessons (Artifacts, API, Skills). Dev-audience signal.

How this works once you pick: The build_hybrid_synced.py pipeline already supports any HTML/CSS for the middle scenes. Picking 2-3 styles = $0 to implement, $0 to apply across all future lessons.

2. TTS voices — 8 options

Same narration line, different voices. All free (Edge TTS, Microsoft Neural). Tap play on each. Pick 2-3 to rotate across lessons.

How this works once you pick: Each AI host gets a TTS voice assigned. Rotation comes naturally — different lesson, different voice. All free.

3. New AI hosts — 5 candidates (replacing Rohan)

Still images previewed via Flux schnell (~$0.005 each, total $0.03). These are NOT Veo 3 yet — just visual checks. Tell me which 2-3 you want to commit to, then I render their videos at $1.20/clip.

Henrik
Builder / tech

Henrik · Nordic builder energy

Late-30s Nordic man, light beard, forest-green merino. Senior-engineer presence. Direct replacement for Rohan's role.

Product / analyst

Priya · Indian-American, neutral US accent

Early-30s with glasses, burgundy turtleneck. Whip-smart PM energy. Indian-American but neutral US accent — completely different from Rohan.

David
Executive coach

David · African-American executive

Mid-40s, navy cardigan over white shirt. Alternative to Marcus — same demographic, different energy (coach vs lawyer).

Hannah
Beginner-friendly

Hannah · warm American teacher

Early-30s, honey-blonde, cream knit sweater. Kindergarten-teacher-meets-Stanford warmth. Great for emotional / beginner lessons.

Kenji
Design / craft

Kenji · Japanese-American design director

Late-30s, sharp short hair with grey temples, charcoal merino. Senior-design-director presence — measured, precise, calming.

Cost to ship once you pick: Each new AI host Veo 3 hook = $1.20 (hybrid) or $6 (full video, 5 clips). The previews above were $0.03 total — you've only spent that, nothing else committed.
